Born in West Virginia, John spent his early years living and working in the Appalachian Mountains. Since childhood, John saw the world through reading books but had a yearning for real travel. When the time was right, he began his journey to explore and learn what the world had to offer. It was during these journeys that John began to write about his new experiences.
